There is literally nothing Mrs Thrush doesn’t know about our school or the systems and procedures that keep it running day to day. She is the font of all knowledge for both parents and staff and one of the first people you’ll meet when you visit our school.
Mrs Collins
Admin Assistant & Senior MDSA
Mrs Collins knows what needs doing before you can even think about ! She is everywhere and does everything – from first aid to lunch cover and admin work as well as helping Robins on their woodland walks. She joined Smannell and Enham Primary School in November 2009 as Admin Assistant and Senior MDSA. She loves being able to help the children and their families settle into our beautiful school family throughout their journey with us. She says, “I feel very honoured to see the children’s achievements from the smallest things like catching a ball or skipping for the first time to being awarding with their first headteachers award. In my spare time I love spending time with my children and my dogs going for walks in the woods where I live.”
Mr Ablett
Caretaker
As both caretaker and cleaner, Mr Ablett has a busy job and is an early bird – so much so that you may never see him! He cares brilliantly for our school and site and ensures that everything is ship shape and ready to go each morning as well as cleaning at the end of each day.
