Robins Class is taught by Mrs McManus and brings together children in Early Years (Reception) and Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2). With a small class size, we are able to know every child well and provide the right support and challenge for each of them. Learning is carefully planned to ensure clear progression in both skills and knowledge, building strong foundations and enabling children to grow in confidence as they move through the school.

At the start of the new term, families will receive home learning sheets and curriculum overviews to share what the children will be covering in class. Phonics and early reading are a key focus for us in Robins, and we actively encourage parents to be involved in supporting this at home. Weekly home learning linked to phonics and reading will be sent out so that children can practise and consolidate their learning with your support.
