To love, to learn, to live... to leave a legacy

Smannell & Enham - Church of England (Aided) Primary School

Mrs Ingram

ELSA & Year 5/6 support

As experienced as they come, Mrs. Ingram joined Smannell & Enham school in January 2008 and during her time here has supported the children with their learning in all classes across the school but mainly in Key Stage two. She is also the current ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) and within this role spends time ensuring that the children know that she is always there to listen. Mrs. Ingram set up breakfast club many years ago now and is still running it today. The children always come in smiling and enjoy chatting with their friends even though it starts before most are in school. Her passion is definitely maths and she loves to share this with the children and help them overcome any misconceptions that Maths is anything other than a subject that they can enjoy and that she is always there to help.

Miss Ware

1:1 LSA on Thursdays & Fridays + Year 3/4 support

With 4 children, Miss Ware is no stranger to a busy environment and working in Year 3/4 is the perfect place for her!  Miss Ware joined the Smannell & Enham team in November 2020. Starting off as a MDSA she is now also a dedicated Learning Support Assistant. She is passionate about supporting children and enhancing their learning experiences. She enjoys working with her team and loves the community that Smannell & Enham has created within itself. In her spare time she enjoys weekly strenuous bootcamp classes, outings with her children but also some much needed quality time at home with them.

Mrs Jones

1:1 support in Year 3/4

Mrs Jones is super skilled in supporting children with special educational needs.  She is brilliant at breaking tasks down into the small chunks they need in order to be able to succeed.

She joined the team at Smannell and Enham in January 2021 after working as an LSA in her previous school for 18 years.

Children are fun and Mrs Jones absolutely loves working with them, “Seeing them flourish and become more independent and resilient is a huge reward.  It’s not just about keeping them safe but nurturing their curiosity and creativity.  No two days are ever the same!

Out of school Mrs Jones enjoys spending time with family and friends and weekends away and her new granddaughter!

Mrs Smith

Mrs Smith has worked at Smannell for 25 years and is a legend in her own right!  She has worked with every year group going and is our Higher Level Teaching Assistant, meaning that she is able to support teachers and cover their release time with the right skills and knowledge to do so.  She has a degree in Childhood Studies and experience across all year groups. Mrs Smith has a passion for outdoor learning and runs the school Nurture Group.  She firmly believes that children thrive when their learning is understood developmentally and that the school offers a safe base.
