Here at Smannell and Enham, we believe that by giving our children responsibility from a young age, it will develop their independence, problem-solving skills, resilience and ability to work in a team. We want our children to feel a strong sense of belonging here and to take pride in ensuring that we improve our school for the better.

All children from EYFS to Year 6 take part in weekly leadership meetings, these are scheduled for every Friday and are led by two members of staff.

The leadership teams are as follows:

Junior Governors, who are focussing on safeguarding, behaviour and our school improvement areas

Inclusion and wellbeing, who are focussing on how to keep us healthy and active

Spirituality and worship, who are thinking about our Christian ethos and values within school

Grounds and playtime, how we can improve our free time in school, as well as make the most of our spaces
