Kites - Year 3/4 class

Our Year 4 children were Year R when COVID struck but they’ve made the most of every opportunity this year.  Year 3 have been working hard too and have found their feet as learners.  In 2024-25, these children will be in a Year 4/5 class, staying in the same classroom so that we maintain the most consistency for them after the last few turbulent years.

They are the first group to embark on our residential programme in its new guise too and will benefit from this personal development as well as acquiring new skills – it starts in the summer term with the Year 3 campout when they will erect their own tents, learn how to keep their kit dry, safe and tidy and enjoy marshmallows cooked over fire.

Kites class have had some great visits this year….to the Roman Baths in Bath no less!  This epic day involved a fair amount of travel but it was all worth it when they got to see and handle real Roman artefacts as well as undertake an archaeological dig and meet the brilliant team from Cotswold archaeologists as they begin their first foray into different careers.
